Leaving Saint Paul Public Schools? Moving?
Students will be keeping their iPads for the summer unless they are leaving the district. If this pertains to your student, please return the iPad, charging brick and cord to Mr. Kvamme; iPad Coordinator, before the last day of school. Have your student notify their counselor of any moves as well. Thank you.

CPSHS Parking Reminders
Everyone who parks in the Como Park Senior High School parking lots needs a parking permit (aside from visitors). If you do not have a parking permit, please see Ms. Lor in the front office. The parking permit should be placed on your vehicle's window so it is visible to staff.
Student parking is located at the last section of the lot nearest to Como Avenue and the far end of the football field. Students may not park in any other section.
Staff may park in the lot but may not, under any circumstance, park in a visitor space.
Students and staff who have a visible handicapped sign posted or noted license plate may park in a handicapped space.
Please follow the rules so everyone eligible may find a parking spot in the lot. Staff will be monitoring the lot to make sure vehicles have permits and that vehicles are parked in the correct sections and spaces. Vehicles may be towed at owner's expense if not following Como parking rules. Thank you for your cooperation.
NEEDED: Tech and Tool Donations for Robotics
Como Park Robotics had its best season ever finishing 4th ranked at our tournament. Congratulate a member of Como Beastbot Robotics if you see one. A great way you can support robotics at Como Park High School is by donating old tools or technology. If you have an old wrench set, tap and dye, 3D printer, cutting torch, soldering iron, laptop or anything tech your spouse wants you to get out of your garage contact Michael Fischer to arrange for someone from robotics to pick it up. Email michael.fischer@spps.org or call 651-744-1919 to arrange your donation.

Great Things Happening at Como
The Como HOSA (Medical Careers Club) and Youth Service Bureau were invited to attend a medical careers exploration event at Allina Health. Students heard from a panel of medical professionals and were able to engage in hands on medical activities. This was an incredible experience for our BIPOC students who are considering a future in the healthcare industry.
Cadets provided food to neighbors’ basic needs through a food drive for Loaves & Fishes at Serenity Village in Crystal Minnesota. This nutritious food drive reflects what our neighbors’ preferences may be for many in need. Great job cadets.
HONOR! It was quite a humbling experience for our four-armed Como Park MCJROTC Color Guard team members and the local Sea Cadet cadre honoring the 25th Honor Flight to all the Minnesota and Western Wisconsin veterans from World War II, Korea, and Vietnam late Monday night at the Hubert Humphrey Charter Terminal 2 debarking Sun Country Airlines at 12:01 am for a spectacular homecoming party. More than 84 veterans and guardians on this one-day adventure were respected with a long overdue show of respect, honor and closure during their visit to all the DC memorials and to reflect the service and sacrifice of themselves and their battle buddies.
The Como Park Family Fun Night Community Service Event under the leadership of Ms. Jamie Hoffman and Sophomore Cadet Providence Mwakana making it happen. Super support and great to see next year freshman there too & excited to get involved. Ooh Rah
The traditional Como Park MCJROTC Year-End Awards and Parade puts closure to sixteen MCJROTC senior's graduating soon. Many accolades and moments of recognition. The SY24-25 Cadet staff is now steering the ship. Great job to all of you who made such a great event happen.
Our students shined at the band/jazz/orchestra concert last week; led by instrumental music teacher, Ms. Katie Miller.
Ms. Strupeck, Mr. Divita, and Mr. Mendiola took 40 students to the Minneapolis Institute of Art to see The Shape of Time: Korean Art After 1989 exhibit and to explore the museum.
Family Fun Night was a great success!
Students, staff, and families got together for some excellent food, fun activities, raffle prizes, dancing, and a special performance by Imniza Ska, an American Indian Drum Group. What an awesome opportunity for everyone to relax and get to know one another.
