Student Eligibility Forms for 2022-2023 Now Available
The Alabama High School Athletic Association (AHSAA) requires all student-athletes to complete eligibility paperwork each year. For the fifth consecutive year, this process will be done online rather than in paper copy. Any student, wishing to participate in athletics, that will be in grades 7-12 for the 2022-2023 school year will be required to complete this process. Please follow the instructions below to complete these forms for the 2022-2023 school year. Students' forms must be 100% complete in order to participate in athletics this summer or during the 2022-2023 school year. This is for AHSAA sanctioned sports only.
*Students should upload physicals to Dragonfly if they were in attendance for the mass physical day in May 2022.

2. Scroll down to the bottom of the page and select "Do My Forms"
3. Read the instructions then select "Create Your Account & Complete Forms"
4. Click "Sign up for Free"
5. Create a PARENT account and complete forms
**You will be asked for a school code. They are GBVYT7 for Hewitt Trussville High School and VUNAZY for Hewitt-Trussville Middle School
4th-6th Grade Youth Volleyball Camp
Hewitt-Trussville Volleyball will host a youth camp for 4th-6th grade students June 13-June 15. The camp will take place from 5pm-7pm daily.

Troy Ellis Foundation Husky Youth Football Camp
The Troy Ellis Foundation Husky Youth Football Camp will take place on June 13 from 5:30pm-7:30pm. This camp is for K-Rising 6th grade students.

MS/HS Soccer Camp
The MS/HS Soccer Camp by Coerver Coaching will be held June 13-June 16. The camp will take place from 5:30pm-8:30pm daily. This camp is for rising 6th grade-12th grade students.

Football to Host Elite Passing Academy
Hewitt-Trussville Football will host the Youth Elite Passing Academy June 20-22. The event will be held at Hewitt-Trussville Stadium and will take place from 5pm-8pm daily.

Boys Basketball Husky Hoops Youth Camp
Hewitt-Trussville Boys Basketball will host the 2022 Husky Hoops Youth Camp July 11-July 13. The camp will run from 9am-Noon daily.

Hewitt-Trussville Football will host the 2022 Youth Football Camp July 25-27. The event will be held at Hewitt-Trussville Stadium from 5pm-8pm daily.

Softball All-State Team Announced
The Alabama Sports Writers Association released the All-State Softball team on June 5, and the Hewitt-Trussville Huskies were well represented.
Junior Kenleigh Cahalan was named first team and was also selected as the 7A Player of the Year. Sophomore Sara Phillips was also named first team All-State. Junior Hannah Dorsett, who started at second base for the Huskies, was named second team All-State. She was joined on the second team by Senior Rylee Tyree.
Sophomore Olivia Faggard was named 7A honorable mention. The Huskies finished the 2022 season with a 45-8-1 record and were the 7A State Runner-Up.

Softball Well Represented on All-Star Team
The North-South Softball All-Star Teams have been selected for the 2022 AHSAA North-South All-Star Sports Week, announced Brandon Dean, Director of the Alabama High School Athletic Directors & Coaches Association (AHSADCA). The teams comprised of 2023 rising seniors were chosen by a special coaches committee from nominations received from AHSAA member school coaches.
The AHSADCA, which operates under the auspices of the Alabama High School Athletic Association (AHSAA), also hosts annually North-South all-star games in baseball, volleyball, boys' and girls' soccer, boys' and girls' basketball, cross country, tennis and golf during the All-Star Week.
The AHSAA Summer Conference, annually attended by more than 4,000 coaches and administrators, will still be July 18-22 this summer.
Hewitt-Trussville Softball will be well represented this summer as both Kenleigh Cahalan and Hannah Dorsett were named to the North team. Cahalan and Dorsett helped lead the Huskies to a 45-8-1 overall record this season and an appearance in the state championship game. The pair also starred for the Huskies during the 2019 and 2021 championship seasons.
HT Softball Coach Taylor Burt was named as one of the coaches for the North team. Burt has led the Huskies to two state titles and one runner-up finish in her five years as head coach.

Jack Ollis Selected to All-Star Team
The North-South Baseball All-Star Teams have been selected for the 2022 AHSAA North-South All-Star Sports Week, announced Brandon Dean, Director of the Alabama High School Athletic Directors & Coaches Association (AHSADCA). The teams comprised of 2023 rising seniors were chosen by a special coaches committee from nominations received from AHSAA member school coaches.
The AHSADCA, which operates under the auspices of the Alabama High School Athletic Association (AHSAA), also hosts annually North-South all-star games in softball, volleyball, boys' and girls' soccer, boys' and girls' basketball, cross country, tennis and golf during the All-Star Week. The annual North-South All-Star football game is now played in Mobile each December following the conclusion of the football season.
The AHSAA Summer Conference, annually attended by more than 4,000 coaches and administrators, will still be July 18-22 this summer.
Hewitt-Trussville rising Senior Jack Ollis was named to the North team. Ollis and his teammates finished with a 31-6-1 record this season which marked the highest winning percentage in school history. The Huskies defeated Hoover, James Clemens, and Vestavia in the playoffs to earn a spot in the state championship series. Ollis also started on the 2021 team that finished 28-6 overall.

HT Tennis to be Represented in All-Star Game
The North-South All-Star Girls' and Boys' Tennis Teams have been selected for the 2022 AHSAA North-South All-Star Sports Week, announced Brandon Dean, Director of the Alabama High School Athletic Directors & Coaches Association (AHSADCA). The teams comprised of 2023 rising seniors were chosen by the Tennis Coaches Committee comprised of representatives selected by and representing each of the eight districts. The players were selected from nominations received from AHSAA member school coaches.
The AHSADCA, which operates under the auspices of the Alabama High School Athletic Association (AHSAA), also hosts annually North-South all-star games in baseball, softball, volleyball, boys' and girls' basketball, cross country, soccer and golf during the All-Star Week. All-Star teams for basketball, volleyball, cross country, softball, soccer and baseball have already been released. The Golf All-Star selections will be announced in the coming days.
The AHSAA Summer Conference, annually attended by more than 4,000 coaches and administrators, will be July 18-22.
HT rising Senior Isabella Hall was selected to the North Girls team. Hall and her teammates had a 12-5 overall record during the 2022 season. HT Head Coach Mike Higginbotham was named as one of the coaches for the North Boys Team.
