Lincoln, Logan, & McPherson Co. 4-H
March #2 (3/24)
A Note from Miss Caitlyn
Dear Lincoln, Logan & McPherson County 4-H Families,
Spring is a great time to start planning 4-H projects, and get signed up for other summer 4-H events. There are many neat opportunities that I would encourage you to make a priority. I know that our Summer schedules can fill up quick. Make a list of goals you want to accomplish over the summer. How does 4-H fit those goals? I guarantee you will find 4-H can help you achieve just about any goal you have. A few opportunities to keep in mind are:
- 4-H camp
- 4-H youth leadership conference
- 4-H summer workshops
We will be at the Coldwell Banker community open house on May 20th. I invite you to put that on your calendar and come see us! Learn about other ways to get involved in 4-H this summer. You belong here!
Feel free to reach out with any questions or concerns,
Miss Caitlyn

Spotlight on 4-H Club Leaders/Volunteers
*At the end of every month we are going to spotlight one of our club leaders or volunteers right here to show off how much we care about everything they do for 4-H.*
Lindee Miller- Volunteer
When were you in 4-H and what did you participate in?
- I was in 4-H from 1996 through 2006, and I participated in the 4-H Horse program.
What did 4-H teach you that you still use today?
- 4-H taught me so many things that I still use today but a couple I am most grateful for are “The awards won on Fair day are exciting but the best rewards are the lessons learned in the process of developing your project” it’s still true in my life. The seeing a project I do come together is always exciting but I get the most from what I learned in the process. The second thing that it taught me is work doesn’t have to feel like work when you do it with a good attitude and make it fun! So many of the 4-H projects require a lot of work, but if you find joy in it you don’t even realize how much you’ve done. So find a way to enjoy the work!
What would you tell someone that might be on the fence about joining 4-H?
- I would tell them “4-H will give you a community you didn’t know you needed! People to support you as you work and learn together! 4-H will be something you always look back on and are grateful for!”
If you could travel anywhere in the world where would you go and why?
- This is a tough question, I’m pretty content here. Nebraska the good life! However, I do think it would be pretty cool to go to Israel and see where Jesus lived and taught!
If you had 1 million dollars what would you do with it?
- Oh man, I have no idea! I would hope I would be generous with it though!
