Spring Conferences
Spring conferences are Tuesday, March 18th, and Thursday, March 20th. Parents may sign up for a parent-teacher conference by using this link. We welcome the opportunity to discuss your child's academic, social, and emotional growth.
Spring Book Fair
Our Spring Scholastic Book Fair will run from Friday, March 14th to Thursday, March 20th.
- Students will shop during their regularly scheduled library day and time. The book fair will also be open on conference nights.
- We are highly encouraging the use of the eWallet instead of sending cash. This makes it much easier for our little eagles to shop as well as for our volunteers. Thank you for considering setting up an eWallet. Additionally, if you think your child may have money in his/her eWallet from a previous Book Fair, see this document for info on rolling money over.
- We appreciate our volunteers to help make our book fairs possible. Please visit the sign-up link if you are interested in helping at the book fair.

Recess Reminders
- Spring showers bring May flowers, so at times, the playground may have puddles and mud. We encourage our eagles to be responsible outside and this includes staying out of the water and mud. If your child is prone to getting messy at recess, please keep extra clothes in his/her backpack. While the office keeps extra clothes for accidents and spills, this stock is not for students who are actively choosing to get wet or muddy during playtime.

Preparation for Next School Year
Principals K-5 do not accept requests for specific teachers. However, we take such great pride in placing students in collaboration with the other building principals, the current classroom teacher, and the school counselor and school psychologist. It is a very time consuming process and we truly look at each individual child when considering placement for the next grade level. While we do not always get this perfect, we do try our best to place students in the most optimal learning environment with the information we have.
We welcome communication about certain factors we should be aware of in regards to your child, but discourage individual requests.
We appreciate your trust in our team with this very important process that we value so much.
