Dear FRES Families,
On Thursday, October 31, 2023, Fields Road ES will have its annual Halloween Parade and classroom parties. Students will be starting their costume parade at 2:00pm. Each grade level, starting with the youngest students, will parade around the back field. All children are allowed to bring their costumes to school in a bag labeled with his/her name on it, to put on before the parade. Children should not come to school in their costumes. They will be given time to change into their costumes before the start of the parade. Also, students should wear costumes that are non-violent. If a student has a weapon, (like a sword/gun) which goes along with their costumes, they are asked to please leave it at home. We would like to promote fun and safety at the same time.
In order to prioritize the safety of all our community members, guests are asked to RSVP in advance using this link or QR code below. Those guests who RSVP in advance will check-in outside on the recess field/parade site to receive their visitor sticker. All guests will need to provide a form of photo ID when you sign in. Please complete the RSVP form by Friday, October 27th. Those who do not RSVP in advance will need to sign in with their photo ID in the main office before entering the building for class parties. All guests must have a visitor sticker to enter the building.
If you would like your child to participate in an alternate non-Halloween themed activity during that time, please let us know by scanning the QR code below and completing the form or by filling out and returning the bottom portion of this sheet by Monday, October 30 th. If you wish for your child to participate in the parade/party you do not need to return this form.
