Principal's Message:
Greetings Forest Park Students and Families,
We've got some exciting events coming up at FPE in the next couple of weeks! This Saturday, March 15th, we gather at the Nines for our annual gala! A week from today (03/19) students will be dismissed at 11:50am for Early Release Wednesday. Next Friday, March 21st, families are invited to a musical (deets below)! Spring break occurs Saturday, March 22nd through Sunday, March 30th! You just got the District's Remind, now check out the 25-26 District Calendar in "Updates & Links" at the end. Thank you for taking time to read through our weekly community newsletter!

FPE students and teachers will enjoy an assembly featuring this musical the preceding Thursday.

FPE Volunteers needed: PPS Clothing Closet 4/14/2025 + Lost & Found launder/wash
Hello Forest Park friends,
Monday, April 14th is Forest Park's day to send 5-6 volunteers from 9:30am -1:30pm, to help kids in need receive clothing and to help sort donations. Volunteers can be parents, grandparents or community members. Forest Park Elementary also needs volunteers to help launder lost & found clothing and water bottles for donation to the PPS Clothing Closet. Please sign-up HERE to volunteer at the PPS Clothing Closet on April 14th, and/or to help us launder clothing and water bottles for donation!
Each PPS school is responsible for sending volunteers two times during the school year to assist students in receiving clothing and shoes. We are excited to be able to have families come to shop for their students. This school year, we have assisted over 1,070 PPS students! And logged over 2,500 volunteer hours.
We are located on the Marshall Campus; 3905 SE 91st, Room B-60. Please have volunteers check in at the Clothing Center =D. We are using the double orange doors with glass, left of the main entrance, by handicap parking that is near our area. You will see our PTA Clothing Center sign outside when we are open.
We are looking for donations of teen-adult-size gently worn/new sweatshirts, hoodies, and warm coats, as we are very low on these items. Also, boys' pants, joggers, jeans size 4-14. We also take clean water bottles, school supplies, backpacks, belts, shoes, coats, jackets, shirts, pants, sweatshirts and PJs. Calculators, watches, jewelry are welcomed.
