PRINCIPAL'S MESSAGE
Hello CV Family,
April is in full force on our campus! March is an odd month on campuses with our new schedule, as the first week we were finishing up the third quarter, the last week we had the ACT, and we didn’t have school last Friday. April is a normal month, but we start celebrating our students and programs heavily and it carries over into May. I want to highlight a few celebrations planned this month. Have a great April, and as always, please contact us if we can assist!
Celebrating our Students!
We are hosting the Copper Coyote Celebration in the auditorium on Wednesday, April 10th, at 6:00 pm. Communication has gone out to the families of those students being recognized. Staff nominated students for various awards, including Outstanding Seniors, Copper Coyote Awards (Nominated by Departments, Clubs, etc.), The Campo Way Awards, Essential Coyote, Spirit of Campo, and we will also recognize our top scholars from the Class of 2024. Last year’s event was a memorable evening and just the start of recognizing the greatness we have the privilege of seeing daily with our students. If your student was recognized, please see the email, and I strongly encourage you to celebrate with your child at this wonderful event.
We will also host our Senior Celebrations Assembly at 9:00 am on April 24th. This is the assembly where students announce their college or post-secondary plans. Parents and Seniors have been asked to complete the 2024 Senior Scholarship and Awards Report. This event is for students and will be streamed live.
Senior Declaration Day will be held in the courtyard directly after our Senior Celebrations Assembly. Senior Dec Day takes place during both lunches. Seniors can win prizes such as college gear and other great items. Seniors “declare” where they will go after high school on the map of the U.S. The day is meant to celebrate our seniors and their plans for the future, whether attending a university, community college, trade school, military, entering the workforce, or going on a mission. It is a great way to celebrate our seniors! Check out our Graduation Newsletter for all upcoming senior celebrations.
Thank you for your continued support. Please let us know how we can help you and your student!
Best regards,
Mr. Tyler Dumas

HEALTH OFFICE REMINDER
You may have seen in the news that there have been five cases of measles in the East Valley recently. While we hope that these are the last of the cases, it is important to acknowledge that Measles is extremely contagious and that there is a possibility that this could impact our schools at some point. Therefore we would like to share some helpful and important information with our families. Typically the illness starts off with a fever, cough and runny nose. It is soon followed by a rash that typically starts at the head and soon covers the entire body. If measles does spread into our school community we will immediately begin working with the Maricopa County Department of Public Health (MCDPH) and you will be notified. Any students who are not vaccinated will be identified and MCDPH will determine when they can safely return to school. Unvaccinated students may need to be out as long as 21 days and if more cases arise, it could be longer.
If you have any questions regarding measles or would like resources on vaccinations please reach out to our Health Office.

TRANSCRIPTS/REGISTRATION
Transcript Orders Through Parchment
Campo is now using Parchment to order and send out all transcripts. Parchment is a vendor that electronically sends transcripts upon a student's request and is relatively self-service. However, to utilize this option moving forward, all of our students will need to create a free Parchment account. While the account is free, there is a charge if the request is for an official transcript and is paid by the student at the time of ordering.
Parchment uses the highest security standards and the service complies with the Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA). This service is available from approximately 12 a.m. to 11 p.m. Pacific Time.
Please check your student's email inbox for the invite to create your Parchment account.
