St Peter's Primary School
Friday 28th June 2024
O Holy Apostle,
because you are the Rock upon which Almighty God has built His church;
obtain for me I pray you, lively faith, firm hope and burning love; complete detachment from myself, contempt of the world, patience in adversity, humility in prosperity, recollection in prayer,
purity of heart, a right intention in all my works, diligence in fulfilling the duties of my state of life, constancy in my resolutions, resignation to the will of God and perseverance in the grace of God even unto death; that so, by means of your intercession and your glorious merits,
I may be worthy to appear before the chief and eternal Shepherd of souls,
Jesus Christ, Who with the Father and the Holy Spirit lives and reigns forever.
Amen.
Message from the Principal
YEAR 6 ASSEMBLY - Thank you to our Year 6 students and staff who entertained the community with a very memorable assembly item. The students treated the audience to a walk-through memory lane, as they revisited personal highlights from Kindy to Year 6. The assembly shared special moments and events throughout their time at St Peter’s and raised a mixture of emotions as our student leaders celebrate their final year of Primary School.
Also, many thanks to the Year 6 teachers who created a wonderful video montage of our students over the last 8 years. Parents enjoyed an emotional trip down memory lane as they watched as a cohort in the Library.
ST PETER’S FEAST DAY - The St Peter and Paul's Feast Day is observed on 29 June. On our final day of Term Two, Friday 28 June 2024, we will celebrate St Peter’s Feast Day. We will begin the day with a whole school Mass at 9am prepared by the Year One classes, followed by fun activities with buddy classes. A highlight of the day will continue to be the Mission Day stalls, where students get the opportunity to purchase items and participate in a range of interactive games!
TERM THREE - Thank you to all our parents and caregivers for your ongoing support throughout Term Two. It has been another enjoyable and successful term at St Peter’s. I hope that all our families have a safe and enjoyable two-week break. All students will be welcomed back to school for Term Three on Monday 15 July 2024.
Have a lovely weekend!

Building Biz - Week 11
As mentioned in last week's newsletter, our Kindy and Pre Primary classes operated from the Library for the final three days of this term. Our Kindy and Pre Primary students and staff were amazing during this transition period, being flexible and having plenty of fun in their temporary learning environment.
This week, it was exciting to witness new grass being laid on the lower oval, as well as the final touches being completed on the new Early Learning Centre.
Our aim continues to be to commence Term Three with the Kindy and Pre Primary classes in the new building; however, this will be dependent on receiving council approval and our certificate of occupancy prior to next term.
