We’ve had another great week here at South Lakewood! Students are settling back into their routines, and it’s wonderful to see the classrooms buzzing with energy and learning. Whether diving into new challenges or sharing moments with friends, so many fun memories are already being created.

Today is the last day for Enroll Jeffco Round 1! If you have not yet, please confirm your child's registration for the 2025/2026 school year. It’s helpful to let us know you’re coming back to South Lakewood next year, so that the district can prepare for next year’s staffing, budget, resources and more for our school. Visit www.enrolljeffco.org to learn more and enroll your student for next year.

Stopfinder is the all-in-one parent app that allows Jeffco Public Schools to share your student’s transportation schedule, announcements and more with designated parents and guardians. Stopfinder works with Jeffco’s transportation software to provide the most accurate schedule information quickly.

With the Stopfinder app, you can view your student’s schedule from your mobile device, share student schedules with caregivers and family members and view announcements and notifications in the Stopfinder Message Center.

Stopfinder is secure and only for registered users. Designated contacts of bus rider families will receive an email invitation providing access to log in to the Stopfinder app.

Bus rider families will receive an email invitation with more information on how to install the app!

We have partnered with the Colorado Rapids to reward and incentivize attendance here at South Lakewood Elementary by giving students who miss two (2) school days or less, from January 7th - February 21st , a complimentary ticket to a Colorado Rapids match.

Students who qualify will receive a ticket link voucher to redeem their complimentary ticket. Additional tickets can be purchased at a discounted rate. Vouchers will be redeemable for qualifying Spring 2025 games.

Panorama Education is a company who conducts surveys in schools and districts across the country. South Lakewood will be giving students the Jeffco Listens Student Engagement Survey in the coming months.

Our 2025 spring calendar for state testing has been provided to schools.

The CMAS dates are available now so that your family can plan around assessment days for appointments, etc. in the spring.

Thank you for being mindful of our CMAS testing dates, we appreciate it when you do not make appointments and or take vacation during CMAS!

If your Panther is in 3rd-5th grades, our Mandatory CMAS testing at SLE will take place April 7- April 24.
