President's Day Holiday
Just a quick reminder that there will be NO SCHOOL on Friday, February 14, and Monday, February 17 in observance of the Presidents' Day holiday.
We hope you enjoy this time with your loved ones, and we look forward to seeing everyone back on Tuesday, February 18!
Attendance Challenge Update
We are getting closer to our goal with 94% attendance so far in 2025. Let’s keep up the momentum as we continue to work toward our goal of 95% overall attendance throughout the challenge.
Remember, every school day counts. Consistent attendance is key to building strong learning habits and staying on track for success. We’re so proud of all of our students and their hard work.
Reminder: Our challenge runs through February 28. Keep showing up, stay engaged, and you might see your class on top next week!
How You Can Help:
- Ensure your child gets plenty of rest.
- Try to schedule appointments outside of school hours.
- Encourage your child to attend school each day, even when they’re feeling a little tired.
Let’s keep the energy high and make every day count! We can’t wait to see which class takes the top spot next week! Level Up that attendance!

Mix flour, salt, cornstarch and seeds. Add warm water, a little at a time, until the mixture is sticky and can be shaped.

“Healthy students learn better.” Although it is important for students to be at school every day the health staff would like to review the general guidelines for students coming to school. Please take a moment to read the following protocols.
Students should not be sent to school with the symptoms listed below:
Fever (100 or above)
Diarrhea
Nausea with or without vomiting

Students may return to school after illness if:

Infectious Conjunctivitis (pink eye) when antibiotic treatment has been administered at least 24 hours and symptoms have subsided

Birthday Celebrations
We love celebrating birthdays at Crowne Hill! Birthdays can be celebrated with non-food items such as bookmarks, pencils, erasers, or a book donation to the class or our school library. No food items will be delivered for student birthdays. Large displays of balloons or gifts will not be given during the school day as they can be quite distracting. For more information, you can visit the Wellness Policy in the handbook.
