Senior Boys - The Road to Hoopla
Friday and Saturday our Senior Boys did battle with Meath Park and Langham. They handled their competition well and came out victorious, securing them a spot at Hoopla. The boys will leave Thursday. We will keep a close on eye on them as they enter battle in Prince Albert. No matter what happens, we are so proud of our Bears.
Huge thanks to everyone who helped out with Regionals, these events cannot happen without the help of volunteers.
Welcome to coach Morin who has joined us from Norquay to help out for the remainder of the season.
Volunteers and Athletes of the Month
The volunteer for this month is none other than our very own PPCS Principal. Mr. Mielke has been a big contributor in organizing and running the kitchen canteen for our last couple of sporting events. Students enjoy being in there working along side him and picking up some life skills about cooking, prep and meal planning along the way. He is also now coaching Jr NBA which our younger students are excited about. Thank you for your leadership and support for Bears Athletics.
Athlete of the month is Kayden Wasylyk. He has shown a huge amount of growth and improvement over a season and a half in playing with the Sr. team. He asks questions, tries to do things correctly and is dedicated to improving his shooting and footwork. He wants to be a good player and works hard to be just that. Good job Kayden
Athlete of the month is Cruze Reed. Cruze is just coming into basketball but seems to be enjoying it to the point where he is found in the gym with a ball in his hands on most days that end in Y. His size, speed, and competitiveness make him an asset to his team. Congrats Cruze.
