Attendance
Hello Families, it is with great hope that you had an amazing weekend! As we are in the final stretch of the school year, I strongly encourage you to remain steadfast in sending your students to school. If your children are anything like mine, this time of year, they regularly say, "Can I stay home from school? We aren't really doing anything!" I can assure you that this is far from the truth. Our dedicated team is teaching up until the last day of school. Therefore, your child(ren)'s attendance is crucial to their success. As of Friday, our attendance rate is 89.1%. We are getting SO close to the state requirement of 90%. Thank you for ensuring your child(ren) arrive on time and attend school for the remaining 28 days of school.

Cell Phone Policy Update
The Parkway Board of Education has approved a policy to create cell phone-free learning starting with the 25-26 school year.
We are committed to equipping students with the skills to navigate technology responsibly and prepare them to balance cell phone use in their personal and professional lives. Setting boundaries and learning when and how to use technology responsibly now will help prepare them for future success. Learn more about the research and feedback that shaped our decision here.
What this means for 2025-26 school year:
High Schools: Cell phones and other personal technology devices should not be seen or used during class. Students will place their phones in a designated classroom location and turn them off or put them in airplane mode. Cell phones will be allowed during lunch, passing periods, and before and after school.
Elementary and Middle Schools: Cell phones and other personal technology devices should not be seen or used during the entire school day. Students must keep all devices powered off and stored in backpacks or designated areas determined by the school administration.
