Q1 Report Cards
Thank you to those families who were able to attend parent/family conferences. It was great to see so many families taking advantage of this opportunity to connect and collaborate with your student’s teachers. If you were unable to attend conferences, Q1 report cards will be mailed via US Mail on Wednesday, November 13th.
New! Report Cards via Email - We know families are busy! We also know digital communication has the greatest accessibility! For this reason, we are now shifting to digital delivery of documents for families. For the first time, we have sent your student’s report card to the email addresses provided to the district during registration last summer. This is another way to access your student’s report card in addition to the paper copy provided. Digital report cards were emailed on Friday, November 8th. If you DID NOT receive the emailed version of the report card, please sign into the Powerschool Parent Portal (https://powerschool.fortschools.org), using the same login and password you use during registration, and click the “Year Round Update” form on the left column.

iReady Family Reports
Along with the Quarter 1 report card, you will receive a copy of your child’s i-Ready report from the Fall Diagnostic in reading and math. This data is one snapshot of your student’s math and reading skills on a computer-based assessment. This data is used as a fall baseline to measure student’s achievement and growth throughout the year and is used by teachers, along with lots of other classroom reading and math data, to provide differentiated instruction in areas identified within each tested area.
Our 1st Activity Night will be on Friday, November 15th from 6:00-8:00pm. Students must arrive by 6:30 and must remain until 8:00.
There will be a DJ for dancing, the gym will be open for basketball and volleyball, a movie room, a game room, and an art room will all be available for students to enjoy.
In addition, our student senators (FINS) will be selling concessions throughout the evening.
Purchase your ticket (just $5) ahead of time at lunch to avoid a wait at the door!
