Preliminary Attendance Boundary Sessions.
Our Unite U-46 plan is moving forward, and we’re excited to gather your input on preliminary attendance boundary recommendations. With new and updated buildings preparing to open, the final step is adjusting attendance boundaries to ensure optimal student placement and support for all learners.
We’re hosting five community open house sessions, where you can drop in anytime to learn about the boundary recommendations, ask questions and share your feedback.
School District U-46 is organized into five networks, each composed of the elementary and middle schools that feed into one of our five high schools. Each session will focus on a specific network, highlighting the schools within that group and their preliminary attendance boundary recommendations. However, you are welcome to attend any session that works best for your schedule, regardless of the network you are part of. Spanish interpreters will be available at each session.

Every Minute Matters!!
Attendance Goal: 95% Student Attendance
Year to Date: 91.9% Student Attendance
Week of 12/2 Attendance: 89.5% Student Attendance
Attendance plays a big role in this. We’re currently above 92%, just a bit below our goal of 95%, but we’re making progress. This time of year can be challenging with holiday vacations, but please try to avoid days off during instructional time. Every day in class is important, and we don’t want students to miss out on valuable learning.
We are entering the final stretch of the first semester with just 10 days remaining:
Attendance Matters! The last few days are crucial to raising grades and completing assignments. Make sure to attend every class and stay engaged for those final opportunities to raise your grades!
Complete Those Assignments! If you’ve got any missing or unfinished assignments, this is your chance to catch up and demonstrate your hard work. Don’t let any of these assignments become zeros in the gradebook!
Prepare for the Final Assessments of the Semester! Your tests and assessments are coming up, and they’re a great chance to show how much you’ve grown this semester. Stay focused!
Together, we can finish this semester on an amazing note. Let’s make the final days of 2024 count – with 100% attendance, strong performance on assignments, and an enthusiastic attitude that carries us into the new year.
