Book Fair
Get ready! Our Scholastic Book Fair “Camp Read S’more!”, sponsored by the PTA, is coming NEXT WEEK! Choosing their own books empowers kids to be bolder, prouder, and stronger readers. AND - as always - every book they buy earns rewards for our school!
Here's what you need to know about the Book Fair, which will take place the week of November 5-8th.
- We'll kick off Tuesday with a full day of Class Previews and then our doors are open for business!
- The Book Fair will be open to families after school Tues.-Th. from 3:45 p.m. until 5:00 p.m. and before school Wed.-Th., 8:00-9:00 a.m.
- 1st-5th grade students will get an opportunity to shop daily Wed.-Fri. during their 30-minute lunchtime recess. Kindergarten classes will have a specific time in the day Wed. or Thurs. to shop with their teacher.
- All our Tehaleh neighbors with preschoolers, toddlers and “Future Trailblazers” are invited to join us for our “Camp Read S’more” Book Fair Storytime at 9:30a on Wed., Nov. 6th.
Set up your Trailblazer's eWallet, a safe and convenient digital payment option for your student to shop the Book Fair cash-free. Cash and Credit Card will still be accepted. Visit tehalehheightspta.org to set up your eWallet!
Remember, all purchases support our teachers, students and school. We hope to see you and your family at our Fall Scholastic Book Fair! We appreciate your support!
Mayor's 11th Annual Food Drive
Today Tehaleh Heights started collecting crunchy fried onions for the Mayor's 11th Annual Food Drive. Our goal is to collect 2,000 items! Please grab a few next time you are at the store to help us meet our goal.
You can turn in any size & brand of crunchy fried onions. Items must be unopened and within the expiration date. We are NOT accepting other food item donations at this time.
Thank you to our amazing K-Kids group, our community service club of 4th & 5th graders a branch of Kiwanis and Key Club, for collecting and counting all of our items! Let's go Trailblazers!
Veterans of Tehaleh Heights Families
Trailblazer families, we want to take the time to honor Veterans and current service members who have a connection to Tehaleh Heights Elementary! Please take the time to fill in the form below for as many current and former servicemen and servicewomen in your family! We will be displaying their information and photos in our 2024 Veterans Day Assembly on Friday, November 8th at 9:30am. Thank you!
