Author's Tea in First Grade

Some of our first grade homerooms held an Author's Tea to celebrate our writers and their published pieces. Students sat around the pod to listen to these original pieces about their families and perform a song.

English Language Development (ELD) students took a trip to Adventure Aquarium!

Thank you Mrs. Biello and Mrs. Hoffman for organizing this very fun extension of their learning. Tawanka would also like to thank all of the chaperones for making this trip possible.

4th Grade Move Up Celebrations

1. Move-Up Celebration

· Friday, June 15 from 9:45 – 10:45 a.m.

· Tawanka Cafetorium

· Due to class size & space, each student may have 2 adult guests attend. There will be a sign-in at the cafetorium door. Tawanka siblings must stay in the classrooms.

2. Glow Sports Party

· Friday, June 8th from 7-9:30 p.m.

· Tawanka Cafetorium & Gym

· Free event for 4th graders only & their parents. Adult must attend with 4th grader.

· Refreshments will be served in the Cafetorium.

· T-shirts for the Glow Party may be purchased online at https://tawneon.itemorder.com. Orders must be submitted by Sunday, June 3rd in order to have shirts printed in time for the Glow Party!

· Please remember that no dress shoes are allowed in the gym, where the glow party will be held.
