Holiday All School Morning Meeting
Lots of holiday cheer was had on Thursday, December 20th during our all school morning meeting. We acknowledged the holidays that will occur during our December Break; Winter Solstice (Yule), Hanukkah, Christmas, Kwanza and New Year's Day. Each class designed a t-shirt and appointed a model for each design in our Festival of Tees! Mrs. Roy led us in song, told us jokes and gave us facts about various holidays. Ms. Adams read us a holiday book, and a parody of The 12 Days Before Break was sang by our very own Lothrop Staff Chorus.

Permission slips for Lifetime Activities were sent home with 4th-6th grade students. Lifetime Activities start in January. All students must have a signed waiver for Rock Climbing, please use the link below to complete this online and send back the permission slips as soon as you can!

Chaperone Guidelines - Sign-up to Be a Volunteer!
It is the time of year where we begin to think about field trips. If you are planning on chaperoning a field trip or volunteering at Lothrop throughout the year, you are required to complete a background check, fingerprinting, and ID scanning through Raptor, our Supervisory Union security system. Due to the amount of time it takes to complete the full process, we are asking parents/guardians to begin the process now. Appointments for fingerprinting fill up fast and we want to ensure that everyone has an opportunity to attend field trips and take part in volunteering for school events with their students. If you are interested in chaperoning or want to check and see if the background check you completed in the past is still valid, please reach out to Sara Eddy at seddy@rnesu.org or call the office at 802-483-2242.
Underground Spirit Week
This past week, Lothrop staff had their own spirit week, and did not communicate to the students. Each day, we had a different theme and if students noticed us dressing a like, we denied any significance to it. It was quite fun!
