NEW INFORMATION
News from the Media Center:
I had a WONDERFUL first year here at Clemens! I so enjoyed working with your kiddos! Now that we are at the end of the year, I am hoping you can assist me in finding all of those missing Media Center books. The last day to check out books is May 25th. This means that ALL books are NOW DUE back to the Media Center so that we may clean, organize, and Inventory them for next year. Thank you so much for your help!
ATTENTION FIFTH GRADE FAMILIES: Students' accounts are connected between the schools, so if your student still has a book out when they start middle school, the Media Specialist will reach out to you to return the book. Thank you for your help getting books back to the school.

Art News
As the year comes to a close, children will be bringing home a lot of artwork. Please be on the lookout for these things, as students have worked very hard on them in class. Artwork that is roughly the size of notebook paper will be given to students to place in their backpacks. Otherwise, most things will be rolled up. If you haven't seen anything come home over the next few weeks, please ask your child about it.
Also, congrats to Madeline Strawbridge in third grade and Mary Iris Pridgen in Kindergarten. HCPSS Visual Art Leadership chose their pieces in the Mall Show to go on to other exhibitions next school year. Their artwork could be featured in any of the following locations: the HCPSS Central Office in Ellicott City, the George Howard Building in Ellicott City, the State House in Annapolis, or a few other offices throughout Howard County that have partnerships with the school system.

INFORMATION WORTH REPEATING
Families Must Register for Bus Service by June 1
Families whose children are eligible for bus transportation must register through HCPSS Connect Synergy to receive bus service for the 2023-2024 school year. Instructions on how to register students are available online. Families who reside in non-transportation areas and families of students who receive transportation as part of their Individualized Education Program (IEP) or 504 Plan do not need to take any action.
Making Memories at Summer Camp
