HV Update 5-10-2024

A message from your principal, Mrs. Stager

Dear HV Families,

NJSLA testing went well this week. We are currently conducting make-up sessions for those that were absent and will continue to do so after Field Day next week.

We are so excited for Field Day on Monday! The festivities will take place on the back field at approximately 10:00-10:15. Parents are welcome to join us as spectators. Please make sure you apply sunscreen and bug spray to your children prior to school, as we cannot apply for you here at school. Thank you in advance to Mrs. Meier and parent volunteers who have worked hard to create a memorable day for the students.

We'll also be recognizing Teacher Appreciation Week and the HSA has some amazing things planned for the staff at HV. On Thursday evening, the third graders will perform in their annual music concert at 7:00 P.M. in the APR.

Happy Mother's Day to all the moms and mother figures out there. Enjoy the weekend and we'll see you back at HV on Monday.

Spring is in the air!... and so is pollen!

While we welcome the budding trees and blooming flowers, some of us suffer from seasonal allergies which may include: itchy eyes, scratchy throat, cough, runny nose or congestion, and watery eyes. It could be hard to tell the difference between colds and allergies. Click here for guidance.
