ARHS Updates

Just a quick update for this week! Quarter 2 officially began today, providing students with a amazing opportunity to start fresh and seek academic support in areas where they faced challenges last quarter. NHS continues to offer peer tutoring on select days in the media center for various content areas, make sure to have your students stop by if they are in need of extra assistance. Stay tuned for an additional ARHS update this week highlighting our incredible students and a wide variety of academic and sporting events.

Dear Parents,

We are writing to inform you that vape detectors will soon be installed in our high schools to help prevent and deter vaping among students. This initiative is part of our commitment to enforcing the CCPS Code of Student Conduct and maintaining a safe and healthy school environment.

Please be aware that any student found with a vape will face out-of-school suspension and may also be subject to alternative placement and potential criminal charges, depending upon the contents. E-cigarettes/vapes are illegal for minors, can be addictive, and are dangerous because the user cannot always be certain of the contents of the cartridge.

We urge you to discuss these new measures with your children and emphasize the seriousness of this issue to ensure their understanding and cooperation.
