What Every Spartan Needs to Know
Spartan Reset
Last year, our Spartans accumulated 6,403 tardies, 6,449 unexcused absences, and 601 behavioral referrals. To address these challenges and refocus on the importance of being on time, staying in class, and being a positive member of our school community, we will be starting a system called the Spartan Reset. This system includes a list of criteria relating to attendance and behavior and the potential consequences.
We have included some checks and balances along the way in hopes of reminding students how their choices impact certain privileges. Please review the chart below and notice:
The criteria for being on the Spartan Reset list.
The loss of privileges for schools and co-curricular activities for the first and subsequent offenses.
The specific criteria related to being allowed to participate in school dances.
We appreciate your partnership in assisting our students to help recognize that being on time and in class as a positive member of the larger school community is important. If you have any questions please reach out to Ms. Harper or Ms. Schoemer.
