What an incredible night to be a Thornton Creek Gator!!! Although the picture above does a great job capturing the moment, I just want to say how truly amazed and inspired I was throughout the process this year. We had more students and staff involved than ever before which led to our largest community turnout EVER!! Thank you for your support of our mission and vision.

Congratulations to Mrs. Murrell, Mrs. Costello, Mrs. Wesley, Mrs. Heisner, Miss Crachiola, and Mrs. Gearns for receiving the Above and Beyond the Call of Duty (ABCD) awards. Each was presented their award shortly after we presented to the Board of Education last week!

So proud of this group of teachers and of all our amazing educators and staff here at Thornton Creek!

Thank you to our amazing Staff Appreciation committee for providing sustenance throughout P/T conferences. These can be pretty long days for our teachers and when the stress of "what am I going to eat for lunch/dinner" is taken care of, it is SO VERY MUCH APPRECIATED :)

Purchase your commemorative 30th anniversary picture today! The picture will be 8x10 in size and can be purchased for $10 through MemberHub . All funds raised will be donated to the American Red Cross for Hurricane Helene Relief. Pictures will be distributed to students once they come in. Thank you for the support!

Dear Parents and Guardians,

We are excited to invite you to an informational session regarding the upcoming ALPS (Alternative Learning Program) location plan for the Fall of 2025. This meeting will specifically focus on providing information about the current location of the ALPS program and the committee's decision to maintain the existing model with 3rd grade at Silver Springs and 4th and 5th grade at Amerman. Please note that this session is not intended to cover general information about the program itself. For more details on ALPS, we encourage you to visit our website.

During this session, members of the Planning Committee will share important insights into the decision-making process and the rationale behind the location plan. To ensure your participation, please submit this RSVP Form to save your spot.

This year, all students receive free meals through the Michigan School Meals Program, which supplements the National School Lunch and School Breakfast Programs. However, it is still essential that families who qualify or believe they may qualify for free or reduced-price meals submit the Education Benefits Form. This step ensures that our students and district receive the maximum available benefits.

By submitting a free and reduced meal application, eligible families may also gain access to additional valuable benefits, such as:

• Discounts on fees for athletics and activities
• Reduced fees for SAT, ACT, and AP tests
• College application fee discounts
• Discounted internet access services
• Federal, state, and local funding that supports school budgets
• Summer EBT benefits for additional food support

Even though meals are free this year, submitting this application helps support both your student and our district.

Qualifying families are encouraged to fill out the Education Benefits Form.
