We hope everyone enjoyed a few days off during the Teacher's Convention.

This upcoming week we will be celebrating the virtue of KINDNESS intentionally as we participate in RANDOM ACTS OF KINDNESS WEEK. However, we know KINDNESS is not just a one-day or one-week event. We need to remember to spread love and kindness always! In a world where you can be anything, be KIND!

We also enter into the Lenten Season on Wednesday beginning with Ash Wednesday Mass at 9:15 am, and we will celebrate Valentine's Day on Tuesday.

February is the month of love, but we wanted to dedicate this month to loving yourself! Self-esteem is how we feel, what we value, and how we perceive ourselves. How we feel about ourselves is influenced by the people in our lives, our beliefs, and our experiences. Learning the acceptance of who we are can begin at a very young age. But how can we build self-esteem in our kids?

The earlier we start teaching children how to love themselves, the stronger their self-esteem will be as they grow older. A person’s self-esteem will never be perfect, but it’s the journey of the ups and downs and learning to accept and love who you are that makes it all worth it.

The Lenten season is almost upon us. May God bless your prayer, fasting and almsgiving.

There will be a Lenten service on Wednesday, February 14 at 6:30pm.

With Lent beginning, so will our Stations of the Cross on Fridays. We will begin on Friday, February 16 at 7:00pm.

St. Baptiste in Morinville is having their Lenten mission on Friday, February 16 at 6:30pm. (Our Lenten mission will be in the month of March)

You will be getting an envelope in the mail that looks like this. Please don't throw it out!

This is the Alberta Assurance Survey. You can fill it out online using the link enclosed in the envelope or by hand and mail it back to the Alberta Government.

**It's an important survey that we use to plan our goals for the upcoming school year, so we ask that you take a few moments to provide your feedback!
