Dear Students & Families,
It is the final week of ski season and the last week before IB exams begin. Seniors are starting to finalize their post secondary plans ahead of the May 1st Decision Day deadline, and Prom is around the corner. This time of year is bittersweet because time goes far too quickly in April and May and we celebrate our graduates, but then we have to say goodbye. Make sure you take the time to enjoy these last weeks of school. Summer will be here before we know it! Also, tomorrow is CURRY DAY at AHS. It is going to be a great day.
Skier Spotlight
IB DP News
IB testers and parents are invited to an IB Luncheon on Wednesday, 4/24 at 11:00. Spanish
IB students can be excused from morning classes if they are studying for an IB exam happening that same afternoon. Students must check in with Itsel in the main office at 8:45 AM.
If students have an IB morning exam, students must still attend afternoon classes. If students’ exam ends mid-day they must return to scheduled classes for the remainder of the day.
IB classes will conclude after students participate in the all IB exam(s) required for that course. A teacher may request students to come to class after the exam.
The IB exam is the final exam for the IB Course. If a student is not present for the IB exam (for whatever reason) the expectation is that the student will continue to attend their IB class and will take an IB exam with their teacher.

Anything Goes
music & lyrics by Cole Porter
April 19th & 20th at 7pm
Performances will be held in the District Theater at the
Aspen Elementary School.
Tickets: $10 Students & ASD Staff | $15 Adults
Anything Goes is set aboard the ocean liner S. S. American, where nightclub singer/evangelist Reno Sweeney and her bevy of angelic showgirls, who will be providing music and dance entertainment during the crossing, are enroute from New York to England. Reno's pal Billy Crocker, a young assistant to Wall Street tycoon Elisha J. Whitney, has stowed away to be near his love, Hope Harcourt. But the problem is Hope is engaged to the wealthy (read: stuffy) Lord Evelyn Oakleigh.
Joining this love triangle on board the luxury liner are Public Enemy #13, Moonface Martin, and his sidekick-in-crime, Erma. With the help of some elaborate disguises, tap-dancing sailors and good old-fashioned blackmail, Reno and Martin join forces to help Billy in his quest to win Hope’s heart. Set to the fantastic music of Cole Porter, how will everything work out? Who knows? Anything goes!

All juniors should follow the guidelines outlined in this Teacher Letter of Rec Document and of course talk to your Post-Secondary Counselor with any questions.
INDIVIDUAL JUNIOR MEETINGS
It is so important that all juniors have at least two individual meetings before the end of the year. If you haven't done so already, please schedule your Individual Meetings with either Karen (students with last names A-K) or Brennan (L-Z) as soon as possible. Parents are always encouraged to join these meetings either in-person or virtually so choose a meeting time that works for both student and parent. Click here for our meeting scheduler (scroll down to the Juniors section). ***Students are not allowed to miss class for these meetings. Please schedule before school or during SET, lunch, or a free period.*** So that the individual meetings are as productive as possible, completed junior and parent intake forms are requested.
