A message from the Superintendent
Weekly Communication

May 15, 2024
Greetings PV Families,
I hope this communication finds you well! In this week's letter, I would like to inform you of several administrative changes for the 2024-25 school year, aimed at maximizing our resources and enhancing the educational experiences of our students. These changes are part of ongoing efforts to capitalize on the talent and expertise of our administrative team members in the most effective ways possible. The shifts will occur on July 1, well in advance of the new school year. As we begin our work together over the course of the remaining summer weeks, our primary focus will be our students' academic growth and well-being. We are confident that these shifts will help to nurture a supportive and productive learning environment.
The new administrative assignments approved at the recent Board Meeting, include:
- Mrs. Sharon Franciosa, High School Assistant Principal
- Mr. Ryan Marsh, Principal, Evergreen Elementary School
- Dr. Amy Sacks, High School, Blue House Principal
- Dr. Seamus Clune, Data Quality & Assessment Program Administrator
- Mr. Dave D’Andrea, Principal, Middle School East
In addition to these placements, we are actively recruiting to fill several open positions. These positions include:
- Lead High School Principal
- Assistant Principal, Middle School East
- Supervisor Special Education, Middle Level
- Director of Special Education
- Principal, South Elementary
I recognize that for some, change can lead to feeling somewhat unsettled, while for others, it brings excitement for what might be. I am confident the approved changes will allow us to build upon the many strengths of our district and generate improved experiences and outcomes. Our commitment to providing a high-quality education remains unwavering. I look forward to realizing the positive impact these adjustments will have on our school community.
Please do not hesitate to reach out with any questions.
Sincerely,
Barbara A. Russell, Ed.D.
Superintendent
