Principal Message.....
Dear RCE Parents:
I hope this message finds you well and that you’ve all enjoyed the unexpected winter break with our recent snow days. While the early snowfall was a surprise, it was wonderful to hear about families making the most of this extra time together. As we return to our regular schedule, we’re excited to dive back into learning and reconnect with our students. Thank you for your patience and flexibility during these last few days; we’re looking forward to a full week ahead.
On Monday, we will be hosting our annual Veterans Day Assembly to honor the brave men and women who have served our country. It’s an important event for our students to understand and appreciate the sacrifices made by our veterans, and we’re grateful for any community members joining us for this special occasion.
Additionally, please mark your calendars for Friday, November 22nd, when we’ll gather for our next PBIS assembly to celebrate positive behaviors and achievements within our school. We’re looking forward to seeing the parents of the students there and to highlighting the hard work and character of our RCE students!
Kind regards,
Mr. Michael Seefried, Principal

Meet the Staff.....
We have such an amazing staff at Running Creek Elementary. Each week we "spotlight" a staff member. This week, our spotlight shines on Mrs. Angela Marklowitz, a Reading Interventionist. Click on her picture or CLICK HERE to discover more about her outstanding contributions to our school community.
Coats for Colorado.....
This year the Elizabeth High School Student Council is having the freshman class lead the Coats for Colorado drive. These coats will help local families stay warm this winter. New or gently used coats are being accepted. There is a box in the RCE Main Office where you may drop them off. Thank you for your support!
COMING SOON! The Elizabeth Education Foundation has arranged for a Panera Bread restaurant fundraiser on November 19. Hope many of you can come on out! Put this date on your calendar!
Snacks and Water Bottles
Please remember to have your child bring a water bottle to school, they can refill them at the water stations throughout the school.
Thank you to everyone that was able to donate snacks that will be shared among the students. If you are interested in donating any snack items such as individually packaged snacks, granola bars, fruit snacks, or any other non-perishable school friendly snacks, please send and/or bring snacks to the main office. We appreciate your support!
Veteran's Day Assembly
We would like to recognize RCE family members who have served or are currently serving in the military by inviting them to our Veteran's Day Assembly on Monday, November 11th at 8:00am. Please fill out the form below for each Veteran/Active Duty member you are honoring, even if they aren't able to attend so they can be included in the slide show.
