Junior Olympics
Our Golden Bears had an Epic Day at Junior Olympics!!! Our talented volleyball team went undefeated all day and won First Place for the 3rd year in a row. Soccer, baskets and long jump, all had athletes take home ribbons. Our tri-fitness team took Second Place and all four of our athletes in the softball throw made their way to the podium. In track, we medaled in 15 out of the 18 events that we entered. In all, we brought home 29 medals, including 5 First Place, 12 Second Place, 1 Third Place, 6 Fourth Place and 5 Fifth Place. As the Junior Olympic chair, I couldn’t be more proud of all our athletes. They showed great sportsmanship and represented Hollow Hills on and off the field/court. A special shout out to our very own Isabella Sieminski who beautifully sand the National Anthem at the start of the event.
Thank you to all the teachers and staff that came out Saturday and supported our athletes! It truly meant a lot.
I’m proud to be a Golden Bear!

Summer School
Learn For Life Summer School Registration 2025
SVUSD Summer School Website
Registration Forms and Master Agreements are due Sunday, April 20, 2025
Dear Simi Valley Schools Families,
Simi Valley Summer School registration for the 2025 session is here! If your student is interested in general education summer school for incoming 1st through 12th grades, this information is for you.
All information for the dates, times, and locations for summer school can be found by using this link: Summer School 2025. On this site, you will also find the registration links for elementary, middle, and high school courses. Please note that elementary is for incoming 1st through 5th graders, middle school is for incoming 6th through 8th graders, and high school is for incoming 9th through 12th graders. Your student’s grade level is determined based on their grade level beginning in Fall 2025.
Some important information to note when you submit your registration:
- Simi Valley Summer School is hosted by Learn4Life/Vista Real Summer School. SVUSD provides the facilities and many of our teachers and staff will work summer school, but SVUSD does not oversee summer school.
- The courses offered are based on interest; there is no guarantee that all will be available.
- All students must have completed and submitted a Master Agreement in order to ensure that they will receive credit for their efforts. This is particularly important for students at the high school level, where earning the credits for the completed coursework is essential.
- If your student qualifies for special education Extended School Year (ESY), that registration is managed through your student’s IEP team.
There are two required steps to enroll in summer school:
- Step 1: Complete the Registration Form.
- Step 2: Complete the Master Agreement
- Unless both of these forms are completed and submitted, the student will not be registered
Step 1: Registration Form-REQUIRED
Please note that registration for summer school courses will close on Sunday, April 20. Make sure to complete and submit your registration before the deadline.
Step 2: Master Agreement-REQUIREDWhen completing the Master Agreement form:
Elementary School: The Master Agreement form is aligned with Antelope Valley Learning Academy, so do not be alarmed when you see this title on the Master Agreement page.
- Select “General Education” under “Program.”
- For “Course 1” select “Electives K-12.”
- In “Location” select “Berylwood Elementary.”
- Select the student’s grade level for the 2025-2026 school year.
