December is here and we love to spread holiday cheer at Renaissance High School. This month we have a lot of exciting activities planned for your enjoyment. We hope that you are able to join as we bring in the season over the next three weeks!
As the weather gets colder and students will be wearing coats and hats, we remind students to use their lockers and lock up their belongings. This includes book bags, purses, and other items. We find that many students leave things around the school in hallways, classrooms, etc. and their items become misplaced. The use of our cameras will not be used to find items that have been left in an unsecured area in the building. All students were assigned a locker. All students should use their locker. If they are having issues with their locker, they should see Mr. Grady.
Final exams are quickly approaching and the semester will be coming to an end. In the next three weeks, students should be prepared to close out the semester. When we return from the break, we will have final exams the week of our return. Students should be receiving information related to end of semester expectations. Be sure that all work that is able to be submitted has been done prior to December 20th.
Our building temperatures vary day to day. The district is aware of this issue and have been monitoring it daily. Please know that I will continue to notify the necessary parties when things are way out of comfort levels. However, students should wear sweaters or sweatshirts that meet the dress code and have on layers that are appropriate as well. (Please see the dress code flyer below).
