CMS Principal's Advisory Council (PAC)

What is it?
The Commerce Middle School Principal’s Advisory Council (PAC) seeks to establish a strong relationship between students and administration. The PAC, comprised of students in grades 6-8, works from a student’s perspective to communicate and facilitate action towards solving school issues. Members of the Principal’s Advisory Council represent the student body’s voice to the principal. These members are also student ambassadors for the school.

What is involved?
The Council meets with the principal once a month to provide their input on school issues. Students also participate in school-wide events held throughout the year. Students are asked to commit to being a member for one year.

Who can attend?
The Council celebrates student diversity, and all students in grades 6-8 nominated by teachers and administrators each school year. If accepted, fill out the permission form and attend the welcome meeting, and scheduled events throughout the school year of acceptance.
