October 2023
I can't believe this is the last newsletter of the 2023-2024 school year. It has been wonderful to work with so many great families throughout the year. As I talk to colleagues across the Cape I am constantly reminded of lucky I am to be working in such an awesome school community as Forestdale.
Our Elementary PTA is amazing! I thank them for all they have done to support students and staff throughout the school year. Whether your student is returning to Forestdale or transitioning to Oak Ridge, please consider supporting this group in some fashion. We are so lucky to have their support.
The Forestdale teaching staff is second to none! I am blessed to work with some of the most caring and dedicated teaching professionals around. Their hard work and constant advocacy for students best interests are so appreciated!
The Forestdale families have been a fabulous partner to work with. You have been supportive of the teaching staff and an active participant in your student's educational experience. This is a recipe for student success!
Lastly, the students are the reason I come to school everyday excited to lead the building. Your children are awesome kids. I have received so many compliments about your children from visitors to the building. They are polite and engaged learners so willing to please with hard work and intellectually curiousity.
Good luck to those students and families who will be transitioning to Oak Ridge or a new school community. For those returning for the 2024-2025 school year, I will see you on September 3rd.
