PICK UP/DROP OFF PROCEDURES FOR STUDENTS
It is important to follow this traffic flow framework to increase student and parent safety, increase emergency vehicle accessibility, and increase the efficiency and timeliness of the pick-up and drop-off process. Thank you in advance for your patience and helping make this process smooth and safe for everyone!
Bus Drop Off/Pick Up: Students will arrive and depart from LeSueur Avenue.
Arrival: Students will follow the sidewalk and enter Door #2.
Dismissal: Students will leave through their closest door and go directly to buses.
Pick Up/Drop Off/Parent Transport: Students will arrive and enter door #2
Arrival after 8:00: Students will enter door #1.
Departure: Students will exit door #1 after their car # is called.
Pick Up/Drop Off Key Information:
Vehicles should enter the parking lot from LeSueur Ave. and follow the drop off/pick-up lane so students can be dropped off and picked up in a “one way” fashion.
Cars should pull as far forward as possible toward the stop sign.
Parents should stay in the vehicle and children should exit and enter at the sidewalk on the school side of the vehicle. If you want to escort your child to the door, please park in the parking lot and use the crosswalk near the stop sign.
Keep traffic flow moving by pulling up as far as you can when you pull into the drop off area.
At dismissal, a staff member will call your family’s green number once you enter the pick up lane closest to the school building.
