If you are looking for family-friendly fun this weekend, there are several free local events to choose from. You can link below to find out more about these events taking place over weekend.

- City of Tumwater Tree Lighting Festival - 1-5:30pm, featuring music from THS Notables, Tumwater Hill Choir & Marimba Band, Black Lake Elementary Choir, and Peter G. Schmidt Elementary Choir

- Littlerock Elementary Winterfest - Sat. Dec. 7th 9am-3pm

- Breakfast with Santa hosted by Boy Scout Troop 48 - Sat. Dec. 7 7:30-11:30am

- America's First Corps Band Concerts - Sat. Dec. 7 and Sun. Dec. 8

This is a reminder that school will be in session through Friday, December 20th. Every day matters for student learning, so it’s important for students to attend and stay engaged as we wrap up 2024. Friday the 20th students will be released according to the ACT Early Release Schedule. Let’s finish the year strong together!

Next week is our 5th Annual District-Wide Spirit Week December 9th -12th.

Here is how it works. Each day the district has announced a theme. We will make a post each morning on the district FB page with the theme of the day. (If theme days do not match with the theme a school has announced, please continue with your school's theme.) Participants will post a photo in the comments of the post of the day by 2:00 pm, please only post ONE picture per child/staff. Counts will be based on the percentage of student and staff participation at each school. Make sure to like us on Facebook to make your daily picture post.

Who will win the coveted TSD Spirit Trophy this year?!?!? We are looking forward to a week of great fun!

Tumwater is ready to cheer on THS Football team in the State 2A Championship as they take on the Anacortes Seahawks in a rematch of last year's championship game!

Please join us as we send the team off from Tumwater High School! Busses will turn left on Israel and then head North on Capital Blvd., then left at McDonalds to access the freeway to Husky Stadium!!
