Hillsboro Highlights - December 24

Dear Hillsboro ISD Families and Staff,

This month, our students showcased their incredible talents through a variety of fine arts performances. The Hillsboro High School Holiday Band Concert, Hillsboro Elementary School 1st Grade Holiday Performance, and Hillsboro Junior High School Holiday Band Concert filled us with holiday cheer. Below, you’ll find photos capturing these memorable events, along with other cherished traditions such as the Lions Club Sack Races at Hillsboro Elementary and Hillsboro Intermediate School.

As we begin winter break, I want to wish everyone a season filled with safety, happiness, and quality time with loved ones. We look forward to welcoming our students back on Tuesday, January 7th, 2025, ready for a fresh start to the new year.

Hillsboro Junior High School recently held an official Blue Ribbon Ceremony to honor staff for their contributions to the campus's prestigious national award.

While we’ve celebrated this remarkable achievement before, this special event featured the presentation of pins engraved with 'Blue Ribbon School' and 'HJH 2024,' along with certificates recognizing each staff member’s dedication and hard work.

The annual Lions Club sack races were a hit at Hillsboro Elementary and Hillsboro Intermediate School! This beloved tradition is a student favorite, sparking plenty of friendly competition. A BIG thank you to the Lions Club for continuing this event and supporting our students.

Congratulations to Kynlee Peavy and Austin Rounsevall for their outstanding performances at the annual Hill County Fair Queen's Contest! Kynlee was crowned Hill County Fair Princess, while Austin earned the Judges Award.

Both students proudly represented Hillsboro ISD and Hillsboro FFA with exceptional skill and dedication!
