TAPED Scholarships 2025

TAPED is offering the following scholarships:

1. Graduating high school seniors who are deaf or hard of hearing and enrolling as a full-time student in a college, university, or trade school for the 2025-2026 school year
2. A graduating senior or a college student working toward becoming a Teacher of the Deaf in Texas
3. A graduating senior or a college student working toward becoming an Educational Interpreter in Texas

In pursuit of her dream to empower others, Emmaly earned her Bachelors of Science in Deaf and Hard of Hearing Education from Stephen F. Austin University in 2012. She embarked on a meaningful career as an Itinerant Teacher of the Deaf and Hard of Hearing for Tyler ISD, dedicating 11 years to impacting countless students and families. Emmaly was fluent in sign language and used her skill to bridge communication gaps and promote inclusivity. Emmaly had a unique ability to see the good in every situation and faced life with courage and grace.
