Cycle Houston held a Pep Rally for our 2nd-Grade students to encourage students to LEVEL UP their reading goals. Grade 2 parents, be on the lookout for additional information in your scholar’s Tuesday folder. Check out the shiny RED BIKE! Students who meet their MAP growth goals will have an opportunity to bring one home in May!

Thank you for getting our scholars to school before the Tardy Bell (8:10 AM).

If parents arrive after 8:10 AM, please park and walk students to front office to sign-in on the computer near the bright pink sign-in sheet. Parents, please ensure you have a visitor’s badge before entering the main hallways of the campus building. All parents must show their State ID (e.g., Drivers’ License) when entering a building.

Parents are welcomed to join their scholars at a designated lunch table after Labor Day using schedule below:

• Tuesday: Kinder - 10:30 AM; 2nd Grade - 11:15 AM; 5th Grade - 12:10 PM
• Wednesday: 1st Grade - 10:55 AM; 3rd Grade - 11:35 AM; 4th Grade - 12:30 PM

All transportation changes must be submitted via phone call (832.484.5700) to GFE Front Office before 2:30 PM. Thanks!

Learn Ways to Support the Whole Child: Part 2 on January 16th, 7:00–8:00 PM!

This session is open to all Klein ISD families and provides practical strategies to help parents and caregivers support their child’s growth and success at home. Let’s work together to empower our students and strengthen the home-school connection!

Time: 7:00–8:00 PM

Open to All Klein ISD Families

Students must be fever-free for 24 hours without the help of medications before returning to school. Using medications to lower a temperature does not make the student less contagious and can lead to illnesses being spread to other students.

Please contact Nurse Eligio via email, cbrown15@kleinisd.net, if you have any questions for our GFE Clinic.

• Please place extra clothes in student's bags in case of accidents or spilled food for students in Grade K-2.
• The clinic needs a 2-weeks notice if you are bringing snacks for your child’s class. Please email Nurse Brown if you have any questions.
• Parents must drop all medications off in the clinic due to paperwork that is required.

*Two events must be district-wide events to receive credit for graduation.
