Fourth Grade Picnic on the Playground
On September 26, the Fourth Grade hosted its annual family picnic on the playground! It was a fun-filled evening with face painting, corn hole, temporary tattoos, bubbles, popsicles, and even Marco’s Pizza! The fourth-grade teachers would like to extend their gratitude to Marco’s Pizza in Grafton for their generous donation of pizza. All proceeds from the Marco’s Pizza sales will go toward purchasing items for the students. The fantastic face painting was provided by our Midview High School Art Honor Society students. We are thrilled that so many families were able to join us and enjoy the evening!
Bird Feeder Activity with Mrs. Kaiser's Class
Along with Miss Karwoski, Teacher for the Visually Impaired, Mrs. Kaiser’s class created bird feeders using paper tubes, string, toilet paper, and bird seed. They discussed the upcoming colder weather and how birds need to collect food during this time.
Following the directions, the class set up an assembly line to construct the bird feeders efficiently. Once finished, they hung them in the tree outside of their classroom. It was a fun and educational experience!
Start with Hello Week
Each year, thousands of schools and youth organizations across the country participate in Start With Hello Week, a national initiative focused on building new social connections and promoting a sense of belonging among youth. As part of this initiative, Midview West teachers conducted small mini-lessons each day this week to encourage students to connect with one another.

Midview West PBIS
Quarter #1 Reward
Each quarter, we celebrate our students' successes in PBIS! To be admitted to the quarterly event, students must earn at least 25 Middie tickets during the first quarter.
For the first quarter, we will be hosting a Glow Party in celebration of students being ready, responsible, and respectful. The event will take place on Friday, November 8th, during the school day.
Students and staff are encouraged to wear white and neon colors to make the event even more festive!
All students will receive a glow bracelet for the event. Additionally, students can use their banked Middie Money to purchase other glow items such as scrunchies, glasses, tattoos, and more!
