Principal's Message
Dear, Viking Families,
We’ve had a wonderful time celebrating Red Ribbon Week this past week, and it’s been fantastic to see our students engaging in meaningful conversations about kindness, respect, and making healthy choices.
Looking ahead, we are excited for Parent-Teacher Conferences next week, where we will have the opportunity to celebrate your child’s successes and discuss their progress. If you haven’t already scheduled a conference with your child’s classroom teacher, please make sure to do so at your earliest convenience. These conferences are a great opportunity for us to partner together and support your child’s continued growth.
As a reminder, next week, we will have early release at 12:15 PM every day. Please make sure to arrange prompt pick-up for your student at this time. Your cooperation helps ensure a smooth transition at the end of the day.
I’d also like to kindly remind families about the use of the Viking drop-off zone. For the safety and convenience of everyone, please be sure to drop your child off in the designated drop-off zone, and refrain from parking or blocking driveways across the street. The drop-off zone closes at 7:40 AM, and it’s much easier and safer for students to enter the school when dropped off directly at the zone rather than crossing the street.
With Warm Regards,
Mrs. Ashton and Ms. Luong
Friendly Reminder / Updates

Counselor's Update
Hello Ericson Families,
This week our brilliant students worked very hard during their counseling lessons. Because of the holiday, Kinder students did not have a lesson this week. 1st graders learned how to show care and concern for others. Second graders had their introduction to emotion management and read "Find your Calm". 3rd graders had a community circle where each student had an opportunity to share and discuss multiple topics. 4th and 5th grade students had a drug prevention lesson for our Red Ribbon week.
Have a great weekend,
Mr. Z
