Schewe Speech
Happy Sunday, Hanna Woods!
I hope you all are enjoying the final stretch of the school year! We only have 7.5 days left until summer break! It's incredible how quickly this year has flown by, filled with learning, growth, and countless memorable moments.
Field Day and Hot Dog Roast Reminder:
As we gear up for the last week of school, we want to remind you about our upcoming events:
Field Day: This exciting day filled with fun outdoor activities is scheduled for Friday, May 24th. It's a fantastic opportunity for our students to enjoy some friendly competition, team-building exercises, and, most importantly, lots of laughter! Please make sure your child comes prepared with appropriate attire, sunscreen, and a water bottle for a day of active enjoyment. Please note only parents who have signed up to volunteer will be able to attend.
Hot Dog Roast: In addition to Field day, our hot dog roast is also on Friday, May 24th! If you child has food restrictions or you would prefer they don't eat the hot dog lunch, please communicate that with your child's teacher.
Reminder of Our Expectations
As we wrap up the school year, we kindly ask for your continued support in reinforcing end of year expectations with your child. These expectations include:
- Respect: Encouraging kindness, empathy, and understanding towards peers and staff members.
- Responsibility: Reminding your child to take ownership of their actions, assignments, and belongings.
- Safety: Emphasizing the importance of following safety protocols and guidelines both in school and at home.
- Engagement: Encouraging active participation in class activities, discussions, and assignments until the very last day of school.
By working together to uphold these expectations, we can ensure a positive and productive end to the school year for all our students.
As always, if you have any questions or concerns, please don't hesitate to reach out to us. Your partnership and support are greatly valued and appreciated.
