November Home Connection
November is often a time when we stop and take a moment to be thankful. Research indicates that gratitude can have an outsized, positive effect on well-being and relationships. We want to optimize this in our learning communities by helping students focus on moments when we can experience and express gratitude. We can help students understand gratitude in 4 steps: notice, think, feel, and do. For more about Gratitude, check out the Rocket Kids Video below - "What is Gratitude? and 4 Ways to Practice"!
Lost Items
Hoodies, jackets, coats, hats, lunch boxes, water bottles and other items that you/your child are missing will be available for pickup in the main entrance hallways Monday, November 25 through Wednesday, November 27 during parent conferences. Please take some time to peruse these items to find your child(ren's) belongings to take home with you. All unclaimed items will be donated.

Art Goes to School Program
The Upper Moreland Chapter of Art Goes to School is an all volunteer, non-profit organization that brings art enrichment activities to the Primary and Intermediate students of the Upper Moreland Township School District in Montgomery County.
We are looking for new members to join our Upper Moreland Chapter of Art Goes to School. We meet in the evening at Upper Moreland Intermediate School about once per month from 7 PM - 9 PM (usually on a Monday). A big part of our monthly meetings is spent learning about the artworks in our portfolio and how to best present them to our Primary and Intermediate students. Then each spring in April or May, we present the artworks to the PS and IS students during one of their regularly scheduled Art classes.
For questions or more information about our next meeting, please email us at agtsatum@gmail.com.
