"Outstanding" Operation Snowball
Congratulations to East Operation Snowball who received the OUTSTANDING TEAM AWARD at their annual awards ceremony. The Outstanding Team Award is the highest recognition that a group can receive. The Snowball members, along with their sponsor Ms. Muldoon, have been involved in many school events including the recent "Duck Hunt".

Esports Competes at State!
On April 20th, the Esports team participated in the IHSA sectional tournament at Hoffman Estates High School. The Rocket League team took second place and qualified for the state finals at Evergreen Park High School. At the State Finals, the team finished 2-2 and in the Top 8 overall. Congrats to the Esports team for a great year!
May is Asian Pacific American Heritage Month
Asian American Affinity Group (AAAG)
The AAAG Club provides students a safe space to celebrate & learn about different Asian cultures. This year, the club took field trips to Chinatown & H-Mart and participated in the Winter Decorating Event. Contact Mr. Leu if you are interested in learning more.
Senior Check Out this Friday
Senior check-out and yearbook distribution will take place on Friday, May 17th from 7:35 AM-11:00 AM.
At check-out, seniors can:
- Return all school-issued items
- Resolve any outstanding fines
- Purchase their Chromebook (all fines must be paid)
- Receive their yearbook (all fines must be paid)
Bus Transportation: Seniors can take their normal bus to Leyden. Bus transportation will be provided occasionally during check-out to take seniors home.
Excellence Award
Students have to achieve excellence in 7 categories to get the Excellence Award. One of those categories involves participating in two clubs, sports, and/or activities during high school.
