One School, One Book
Hello HTS Families~
I am happy to announce that we have two big events to celebrate at HTS this school year- Our One School, One Book Event and a visit from author Victoria J.Coe!
The goal of the One School, One Book initiative is to have our whole school community reading and talking about the same book at the same time. Our book choice for this year is Fenway and Hattie. We will kick off the event in school sometime after the new year in 2025. Our entire school is encouraged to read the book and celebrate with discussions, activities and contests throughout the winter. Many teachers will be reading the book aloud in class. We will have our final celebration on Thursday, March 13, 2025 with a visit from Victoria J. Coe!
If you would like to purchase the book for your child to read, please complete the order form below and return it to your child’s teacher by Wednesday, November 27, 2024. Purchased copies will be distributed in school in January.
We are excited to celebrate reading as a school community and look forward to your child’s participation in the event. Please feel free to contact me with any questions.
Sincerely,
Mrs. Tracy Beyrodt

Early Dismissal Day in November
The Bus & Parent Pick Up:
For transportation purposes, your little ones will arrive home or child care approximately 2 HOURS EARLIER than their normal drop off time in the afternoon.
Parent Pick up time is approximately 2 HOURS EARLIER than the normal pick up time in the afternoon.
For example, if your child gets off the bus at 3:44pm on a normal school day.....they will be arriving at 1:44pm on these early dismissal days.
Lunch Time:
Lunch is NOT served on Early Dismissal days. Teachers often will recommend that their students pack a bit more snack on these days, however, many thankful celebrations will also be occurring on this day.
