Principal's Message
Hello Vista Academy Families,
We had a great week, and everyone was all smiles for picture day. If you child was absent we will have a makeup picture day on September 13th.
With the warm weather season heating up, please be thoughtful in what your children are wearing to school. Light and athletic clothing are best so students can stay cool. Don't forget the sunscreen and water bottles as we want to ensure students are safe and hydrated. During extremely warm weather, like we had this week, students will play in the gym or watch a movie in the PAC for lunch recess instead of playing outside.
Don't forget Wednesday, September 11th is a minimum day for staff professional development and students will dismiss at 12:58.
Reminder about Dropoff and Dismissal - student safety is our number one priority. Please make sure you are following the dropoff and dismissal procedures. DO NOT have your child cross the dropoff and pickup lanes unless using the crosswalk. It is extremely dangerous! Please follow the directions and respect all staff on duty during these times. We want to keep your students safe.
Our lost and found will only be out in front of school on Wednesdays and Fridays beginning next week. Please check for any lost items.
Have a great evening,
Benjie Walker
Principal
