MCAA Rocket Report
October 2
A Note From the Principal
Greetings MCAA Families,
We created lots of sweet memories at each overnight camp before break. Thank you to all of the staff and chaperones that made the trips possible. Students truly had a blast! As if September wasn't busy enough we took a school-wide field trip, held our first house challenge (such a fun day) and wrapped up our Fall Foundation Fundraiser. I can't thank you enough for your incredible support. Through your continued generosity we are able to provide our students with a wealth of experiences and resources at MCAA. These funds will also help us start to get our outdoor learning spaces and a new Maker Space ready for student exploration and learning.
As we welcome the cooler months of October, it is my hope you and your family had a week full of adventure, rest and relaxation. We will begin the month with a Marietta Homecoming ~ always a fun week in this wonderful town. Especially sweet for me with a Senior (time flies). We will have our Fall Festival on October 18th and finish out the month with our Fall conference week. Be sure to come out and cheer on our MCAA float at Friday's Homecoming Parade before heading over to the stadium for Fan Fest and a home football game. Now bring on the Fall air, pumpkins, and cool breeze.

Cape Day - Friday, October 25
Join us on October 25th as we celebrate the brave who have fought or are continuing to fight cancer. Students who make a donation of $2 can wear a cape. Don't have a cape? We will be taking a moment to celebrate some of our very own current MCAA heros as well.
