Greetings PK-8 Coyote Families,

It was awesome seeing all of our students and our Coyote families return eager and ready to learn this past short week.

Student Report Cards & Afterschool Tutoring

Our teachers and staff went over campus data this past week, and although our students are making progress, we still have room to grow in reading and math. All our PK-8 students will be getting their QT1 Report Cards. Be on the lookout for after school permission slips for our 3rd-8th grade students who need extra academic help for the following areas: failed on report card, Loss of Credit due to absences, failed in reading or math STAAR last year, or teacher recommendation. Remember you can always schedule to meet with your child's teacher if you have any questions regarding your child's academic progress.

• Red Ribbon Week (More Info- Counselors) : Oct. 28-Nov. 1

• Pumpkin Decorating Contest (More Info- Mrs. Aguirre) : All PK-8 students can participate, pumpkins due Oct. 28

• PK-8 Spirit Wear Online Store Window Extended (More Info- Campus Office): You can still order your hoodie, dry fit polo or Spirit shirt

We are excited to announce that our PK-8 Spirit Wear Online store is now open. Order your sweatshirt hoodie before the cold weather hits. You can also order student drifit polos, and school spirit shirts. Orders placed by October 18 will be delivered over next few days. PK-8 Attendance

We take a lot of pride in our attendance at our school. Please help us maintain it at 98%!

1. When your child is absent, please send the doctor's note or parent note within 48 hours.

2. All PK-8 students start school at 8:00. Tardy Bell rings at 8:05am. A student will receive a tardy slip every time they arrive late.

3. When your child is absent, please expect a phone call from our front office or your child's teacher to ensure that your child is ok.
