On May 2, our students experienced activities and problem solving challenges to promote curiosity and learning in STEM (science, tech, engineering, math). Thank you to our parents who designed activities and led interactive projects. Our Cardinals had a great time! This is a special day we plan to grow into a tradition and we sincerely appreciate the support.

As you set plan trips and vacations for fall and winter, please take our school calendar in account. Try to plan trips during school vacations so your student does not miss out on important learning opportunities. Good attendance is really important to help students learn at high levels. Students whose attendance rate dips below 90% are considered chronically absent, which means they are missing so much school they are at risk of falling behind. If students take a week vacation during a school week, then get sick for a week and miss another week of school, their attendance will likely dip below 90%.

We wanted to announce that our Enroll Austin process is now open for all grade levels. To ensure your child is confirmed to attend Clayton next year, you will need to register each child using the AISD Portal by mid-May. Please follow this link to get started. https://www.austinisd.org/enroll

Registering online will only take a few minutes and ensures your child has a smooth transition into the following year. This process allows us to make sure all of your information is up to date and place the in a classroom for the 2025-26 school year. This athletic camp for girls is a great way for beginners to get introduced to the fast-paced game of lacrosse and for experienced players to improve their skills and learn about the Bowie High School Lacrosse program. The game of lacrosse continues to be the fastest growing sport in the United States. Daily snacks and Gatorade will be provided to each camper as well as a camp shirt.

Cost: $150 Early Bird Discount for online registrations through May 20th. After that, the fee increases to $175.
