Important Dates and Opportunity

We are looking for a patient, sensitive and caring person to support students between 5-11 years old with special social, emotional, physical and learning needs. This role will suit someone who maintains calm and fair work ethic and is able to consistently follow guidelines.

You will support students with routines, learning tasks and making good choices for their learning/behaviour in the classroom and playground. The role may involve assistance with toileting and administration tasks at times.

Experience/willingness to support students learning in:

- developing skills in speaking/using English

- calming/de-escalating and resetting behaviour

- working with teachers in a variety of learning spaces

The hourly pay rate will be based on the Support Staff in Schools Collective Agreement and the demands of the role.

This role is 20 - 27 hours a week, fixed term for the 2025 school year: ASAP - 18 December initially as you will be covering for a staff member who is undertaking alternative duties until the end of the year only.
