Hardware All Around!
It was a very successful year at the state academic meet for Mart High School students. The Mathematics team, composed of Codey Cardwell, Thomas Smith, Lillian Green and Michael Paul Loftice placed 5th overall.
Codey Cardwell individually placed 1st in Number Sense, 2nd in Calculator Applications, and 3rd in Mathematics. This is the first time in school history that this has been achieved.
Mart ISD is extremely proud of these students and all of the hard work they've put in this year. We would also like to thank their UIL coach, Mrs. Stephanie Carter, for her work with these students and their peers.
Smoaky Academic All-Star
Congratulations to MHS Senior Monte Swaner who was selected as a Smoaky Academic-All Star. The David Smoak Academic All-Stars Team recognizes area high school student-athletes who also excel in academics. In order to be considered, candidates must be involved in school clubs and organizations, as well as community events and projects.
