November 2024
Mission I'm Possible:
LOE Families,
November marks the season of gratitude! It's my favorite month of the year as we anticipate fall break and celebrate what we are most thankful for. I am thankful for our students and families. The start to this school year proved to me just how resilient our students and staff can be.
Be Proactive: Please mark your calendars for the month of November. We will have no school from November 25th - 29th per our CCPS Academic Calendar. Our SAC meeting date will now be on Tuesday, November 19th @ 7:30 am. Please consider attending our November Parent Lighthouse Meeting (see flyer below) as we continue to discuss the 7 Habits of Highly Effective People.
Synergize: Please consider spending time with your son/daughter to review their quarter 1 report card. This helps your child know that you are involved in the educational process and are aware of their progress in school. If you have questions, please reach out to your child's teacher and set up a conference.
Put First Things First: Celebrations are in order!!! All students are working on their lead measures to reach their WIG (Wildly Important Goal). "All students will reach their annual typical growth in iReady by May 2025." Students will be celebrating by enjoying ice pops and outside field activities the first week of November.
Finally, safety 1st. If you are walking your child to school from Immokalee Road, please walk your child all the way to the front office. Thank you for your continued support.
Thank you,
LOE Administrative Team

Meet our School Counselors - Mrs. Hacker and Mrs. Gaillard
Our goal.....
As elementary school counselors, our primary role is to support students in their academic, social, and emotional development. We are here to help create a safe and nurturing environment where every student feels valued and understood. We believe that strong partnerships between home and school are crucial to a child's success, and we look forward to collaborating with you to ensure our students thrive.
Throughout the year, you may find us in classrooms providing lessons with the whole class, or in our classroom working with small groups or individual students. We often teach students coping strategies to help them manage their feelings. We also oversee our Peer Mediation Program, Student Ambassadors, and all things PBIS. We work very closely with teachers and administrators to ensure our students have the support they need to thrive in school and beyond.
Please feel free to contact me via email at hackeb@collierschools.com or phone at (239)377-7417; or Mrs. Gaillard via email at gaillaam@collierschools.com or phone at (239)377-7406. Thank you for your continued partnership in supporting our students’ success.
I hope this message finds you well! My name is Brianna Hacker and I am our Lead School Counselor at LOE. After graduating from The University of Iowa (Go Hawks!) in 2006, I moved to SWFL to “Teach by the Beach”. I was a classroom teacher for ten years, and a K-5 Reading Coach for five years in Lee County. I graduated from Florida Gulf Coast University with a Master of Arts in School Counseling in 2021 and began working at LOE during the 22-23 school year. It is an honor to be a LOE Dolphin and work alongside your children during their educational journey. I also love learning from and working beside Mrs. Gaillard who many of you have known and loved for many years! I am lucky to continue learning from the best. When I’m not at school, I enjoy spending time with my husband and 2 kids, traveling, and relaxing with a good book with the pool.
Hello! My name is Amy Gaillard. I have been a School Counselor for 34 years. As a Naples native, I graduated from Naples High School. I hold a Bachelor of Science degree in Health Science from the University of Florida. While working at a hospital as a physiologist/nutritionist, I fell in love helping children achieve their challenging health goals. I obtained my Master of Arts degree in Counseling and began my lifelong passion helping students achieve their highest potentials in education. I have worked at LOE for 22 years and absolutely love working with Mrs. Hacker - she’s the best! When I’m not at school, I love adventure traveling with family and friends, and playing with my amazing grandchildren.
