The Office of Library & Information Services, together with the Office of Innovation, is pleased to announce that Adams Public Library in Central Falls, Greenville Public Library, Providence Community Library and Warwick Public Library are the winners of Studio Rhode Phase II grants.
We are offering 2 repeated sessions, 3/6 and 3/28, of "LORI Resource Sharing Procedure Review" in March. There will be in-depth presentation on the most effective way to locate materials in HELIN libraries and all things resource sharing. Come learn/refresh about LORI ILL or to help answering questions about your library.
Join us on April 4th for the first Reading Power mini-conference, sponsored by the Afterschool Leadership Circle and the Office of Library and Information Services. Reading Power is a day-long professional development event bringing together afterschool professionals and youth services librarians to address the literacy and learning needs of children in grades K through 5.
NLS Launches Television and Radio Commercials (video)
The Library of Congress’s National Library Service for the Blind and Physically Handicapped (NLS) has launched a major outreach campaign to educate the public about the free services it provides to U.S. residents with visual impairments and other disabilities.
