I would like to welcome you back from your two week break. On Monday, we begin Term 1, Semester 2. I hope that everyone's break was restful, and that you are ready to return.

This second part of the school year is full of Athletic Events, Musical Concerts, and Drama Productions. Seniors will also be busy working on college applications. Please be sure to check the newsletter for information on upcoming dates and events.

Families may be hearing from Staff at McNair who are reaching out in an attempt to help complete the Online Data Confirmation for this school year. If you have any questions about this, please do not hesitate to reach out to us.

Wednesday, October 23, McNair will be offering the PSAT.

The PSAT 8/9 and PSAT/NMSQT can help you prepare for life after McNair.

Are you going to college?

The PSATs are practice for the SAT. If you are a junior, your score on the PSAT can qualify you for the National Merit Scholarship.

Are you thinking about college?

The PSATs gives you a taste of the SAT, a test often required by colleges for admission.

Want to keep your options open?

Take the PSAT. Try it out. See what you think. You’re probably more capable than you realize.

Cost: FREE, but you must register.

Registration closes at 4:00 pm October 18.

These scholarships will be awarded based on a combination of financial need and merit.
